Q. How many people can I bring with me?
A. The cake tasting is often an element of the wedding planning that the whole family is eager to be a part of. However, we have found that it can be difficult to focus with too much input thus we ask that you limit your group to no more than 4.
Q. How long do wedding cake consultations last?
A. We set aside an hour for each client, which is typically enough time to design the cake and taste our samples. Frequently, appointments are scheduled before and after yours, so please plan to arrive on time so that we can give you all the time that you deserve.
Q. What do I need to bring to our appointment?
A. It is helpful to have made venue, floral and color decisions prior to our meeting, but not mandatory. Your custom cake will be unique to your special day. Some things that we find helpful in creating your cake may be a photo of your dress, your invitation, a special design, a monogram, or piece of jewelry. All of these are items that we can draw inspiration from when creating your custom cake. Mainly, your vision for your wedding. P interest is always a great resource. :)
The design process is definitely a collaboration. Trust that our goal is to design a cake that you LOVE!

Q. How many flavors can I choose?
A. We include 2 flavors in the price for tiered cakes. However, you may choose as many flavors as you have tiers in your cake. We do charge $35. for each additional flavor over two included. There are also additional fees for premium flavors.
Q. How much should I expect to pay for my wedding cake? Do you have a price list?
A. We do not have a general price list because each cake is uniquely created for each individual customer. Prices vary depending on the size, complexity of the design, and the time required to create your unique look, as well as supplies and tools to achieve them. Prices start around $6.00 per serving for a simple, buttercream covered cake, however on average, our wedding cakes tend to be around $6.50 per serving. On smaller orders (typically under 50 servings) cakes can be priced by the project.
We offer kitchen cakes, which are simple layer cakes, to supplement the servings on larger weddings. These are most often the same flavors as the wedding cake itself are priced at $75. per 25 servings.
Before you arrive for your consultation, it is a good idea to establish some sort of budget for your wedding cake. This will help us to create a cake that is the right fit for your special day.

Q. If I want fresh flowers on my cake, can that be arranged?
A. Yes. We help you arrange fresh flowers directly with your florist. We will deliver the cake safely to your venue and work with your florist to place the flowers properly on your wedding cake. We do like to be involved in the flower placement to provide the safest and most beautiful look for the design.
We can also provide beautiful sugar flowers when necessary.
Q. Do you offer sugar free or vegan cakes?
A. We currently offer a limited, gluten-free cake. We do not consider ourselves a celiac-safe bakery, for we do include flour in all of our other cakes, and there are traces of flour in our shop at all times.
All of our cakes are baked fresh to order and we do use real butter and sugar in our cakes and icings. Our cakes are beautiful and delicious.
We are told every week that our cakes are as delicious as they are beautiful. Come taste for yourself...we're looking forward to meeting you!
